Residents of Niagara region have been promised better Go rail services if the Ontario NDP forms the next government.
Andrea Horwath, Leader of the party made a campaign stop in St. Catharines to reassure the community of the commitment of her party to ease the problems encountered by the community due to inadequate GO rail connections between the region and Toronto.
“People in this region have been squeezed long enough. It’s time for a change that will look after the growing number of commuters here, connecting them with every opportunity, whether it’s a dream job or a quality education,” said Andrea Horwath.
The NDP leader said the party would not pay any-lip service to the problem but would deliver.
Andrea Horwath said the platform of the party particularly on Pharmacare and Dental Care has been resonating with the Ontario electorate.
